When Leonhard receives an invitation to the Kingdom of Fonseine from Prince Claude, the princes set off on their first big trip together. Will this trip give Leonhard the opportunity to put his new language skills to some good use, or will he sink to his usual aggression? 

Kai makes his grand return in this volume, and it was nice to see the brothers together once again! But I particularly liked getting to see some more interaction and banter between Heine and Viktor, as well as getting to know Viktor a little bit better as we get to see what it was like for him when he became a King so young. 

It was nice to get to see Claude again as well, as the Princes take a little trip. There's more signs of how far Leonhard has come, as it seems he's been studying. It even pays off as Heine gives him the responsibility of translating on their trip, and I have to say...I was incredibly proud of Leonhard! He's had some brilliant character development. 

I enjoyed the interactions between Claude and the Princes, he's kind of adorable, so much so that Leonhard can't say his piece to him! But poor Claude is worried the Princes won't be friends with him if he doesn't end up marrying Adele, and that they're only being nice to him because of that, bless him. It was a realistic worry, but it also made me feel for him so badly. I'm looking forward to hopefully getting to see more of him. 

Because we're visiting Claude, that means that we get to explore a new part of the world of this series which is something I'm always excited for! In this case, we're exploring Fonsein and it's city of Fleur. You can see hints of Paris in it, and it was exciting to get to see a new setting. 

We've already seen Leonhard's blossoming friendship with Claude, so it was nice to see that go further as they overcome their troubles about the betrothal and their worries about it. It was also nice to see the other Princes bonding with him and I'm hopeful for more interactions amongst them. 

Of course Licht doesn't take part in the trip, we do get to spend some time with him as we have a bit of a mystery to solve. Licht and his boss are having a bit of a problem at the cafe, with a few 'pranks' being pulled on them. Which of course coincides with the opening of the second cafe location. While we see an old face in the form of Claude, we get a new face this volume as well as we meet Herman who's going to be the manager of the second shop. 

Viktor isn't the only character that we get some more insight in to this volume either, we get a chance to know Licht's boss a little better too. How he came to own the cafe, the struggles he had with starting it up and so on. I like the fact that we get to know some of the side characters just as well as our main characters throughout this series, particularly those that we do get to see quite often! 

While this volume is fairly light hearted with lots of hilarity courtesy of Viktor and the Princes, and is relaxed for the most part, towards the end it takes a turn for the serious as Maximilian ends up hurt as he has to protect Licht. The vendetta against the Cafe Mitter Meyer is upped from the harmless annoyances we'd seen initially, to something a little more serious on the eve of the second locations grand opening which adds a splash of action, intrigue and danger to the volume. 

With both cafes closed until further notice, the boss and Herman set out to do a little private investigation in to the culprit. Excluded from the investigation because of his Princely status, Licht isn't particularly happy. He just wants to help, and we end the volume on a rather tense note as he vents his frustrations about the Kingdom and its social stations meaning the next volume should have a very interesting opening and we have an investigation to look forward to!

The royal palace is bustling with successive arrivals, which is good news for lonely Leonhard! First, Beatrix comes seeking advice on how to cheer up her cuteness-starved fiancé. Then, young Prince Claude of Fonsein pays a diplomatic visit that pushes Leonhard's foreign-language skills to their limits. When Leonhard's dearest brother Bruno is next to arrive, everyone expects Leonhard to be elated...but the effusive prince is uncharacteristically reserved. Has their time apart soured the bonds of brotherly affection?! 

Despite Rosenberg being on the cover of this volume, we didn't see as much of him as I thought we would! Although I did kind of think he was having his strings pulled by Eins but now I'm wondering if it's actually the other way around. It's an ominous opening either way, and then it's on with the hilarity as poor old Kai is having a severe lack of cute and fluffy things to pet. Bless him. But sometimes I do feel Kai on a spiritual level. 

It was nice to get to see some more of Beatrix in this volume, I enjoy her character and love it whenever she pops up! She gets along well with our other characters and is just as entertaining. The main focus of the volume is actually Leonhard for the most part, but we get to meet some other royals! They're from Fonsein, presumably France, and it's up to Heine to be translator between Adele and the young Prince Claude. Of course Leonhard can't be left out of things and he decides to join in helping to entertain him. 

Honestly, Leonhard freaking out because he worked so hard studying the language and still struggled to speak to Claude even with something completely basic was an absolute mood. Literally me while I'm learning Japanese and Korean. I don't think I've ever related to Leonhard more than in that exact moment. 

I was expecting this volume to continue with the focus on Leonhard and initially we got a glimpse of Kai so I figured we'd get glimpses of Bruno and Licht but nope. This volume sees Bruno make his grand return, which is a bit awkward at first before it quickly gets heartwarming! But that's not all folks, after getting a look at some of what Kai's been up to briefly, he also makes his return to the palace, leaving just Licht off doing his own thing now. 

I feel like, despite the light hearted tone of this volume, this volume also indicates that things are shifting. I got the sense that we're leading up to something, mostly because of the return of Bruno and Kai. I could be reading too much in to it but after that ominous start at the beginning, talks of Eins marriage and Rosenberg being his shady self at the end, combined with the return of two of the Princes means that something is up so I finished the volume on quite the sense of anticipation. Plus I'm sure Rosenberg is yet again up to no good!

Three of the princes have left home to study away from the castle and the guidance of Heine, but Leonhard remains, still under the strict observation of the Royal Tutor! Beneath the surface of everyday life lies the fierce will to fight for the right to the throne! With change all about them, now comes the time to grow and learn... 

Volume 10 starts off a little bit....tense, as Leonhard has a showdown with Eins, and Eins says some not very nice things about our little cinnamon roll Leonhard. Plus Heine has a showdown of his own with Rosenberg, you guys remember super shady Rosenberg? Well Heine is putting the pieces together about Rosenberg and the other Princes leaving for various different reasons. 

As such, Rosenberg finally removes his mask, revealing the real him and he's...rather hostile. Possibly because Heine mentioned that there's some reason the King has for saying Eins isn't fit to be King, which provides us with new intrigue and a new mystery. Plus we get all of Rosenbergs motivations this volume. Yes, that's a plural. 

Of course, Royal Tutor is about the Princes and we get to catch up with each of them throughout volume 10. Licht has to learn to cook because he didn't factor in all the things the palace staff did for him before he left the palace. Props to him though, it doesn't make him want to go back and his determination doesn't waver. 

Meanwhile Bruno is getting to grips with his own situation, his fellow student Smerdyakov isn't exactly friendly. But he gets the misunderstanding sorted out, and Kai...his biggest problem is the lack of soft things. In short, they're all doing well and loving life. 

We get some fun moments as Leonhard goes to check up on Licht, and Adele has an issue with growing out of her clothes. I really feel like things started to heat up as we had the encounter with Rosenberg and Eins, and then it slowed a bit as we caught up with the Princes. Although seeing how they where doing did solidify that Leonhard is the only hope right now, to fight Eins and Rosenberg, but the little detour to Licht and Adele was a bit of a drag before we'd shoot back to Eins and what his mysterious problem is. 

I'm getting excited as they're building up this mystery around him, and we've seen a glimpse of the real Rosenberg. I'm waiting for the battle for the throne to begin and to delve deeper into Eins and his mystery. Plus I'm waiting for Leonhard to get his chance to shine!

Prince Licht once again finds himself caught between his role as a prince and his desire to have some fun in his life. How will he react when the count offers his assistance? 

After the rather...worrying ending of the previous volume, it would appear Licht might be more intelligent than I gave him credit for. My bad dude......oh wait. Wait. Never mind. I take it back. He really is that dumb. He clearly can't see that Rosenberg is only willing to help him to get him out the way. I mean if that's what he wants...then fair play but there are better choices for help than the shady Rosenberg. I have been itching to see how this would play out and I can't help but be a little bit disappointed in Licht. 

After a week long time skip, Licht finally has to choose between his two lives. He's struggling with the idea of committing to life as a Royal, and that being all he does. I get that, and I understand where he's coming from. He essentially wants to be a man like his father and with a job he loves like Heine, which is nothing bad to aspire to be. 

I've been intrigued to see which direction this story will take, would it be slice of life with the Princes? Would there be more to it than that? Would there be an all out war for the throne? But this volume takes an interesting twist. That being that the Prince's decide to follow their dreams. Therefore we have Licht leaving the Palace to go work at the Cafe's new location. I'm actually quite sad to see him go, although I kind of had a feeling it was coming. 

What I wasn't expecting was Bruno to opt to leave too. We don't get to see as much of his inner struggle as Licht's, but he decides to follow his ambitions too. Not to the same extent that Licht has as he still fully intends to run for King. And then we have Kai, who also wants to leave. That's right. You heard me. The Princes are legitimately dropping like flies. Although Kai has more of a struggle because Leonhard isn't really coping well with the loss of his brothers. Bless him. I was reading like "Just tell him. Rip the band aid off dude" because Kai was faffing about so much. 

This volume, while not only giving us that shock twist and pushing the story in a new direction, shows how far each of the Princes has come in that they'll go for what they want now and make that decision to leave. In Leonhard's case we can see how much he's grown up since the first volume, considering he actually tells Kai to go. 

I'm incredibly curious to see how the story will progress from here now. Will we switch to each prince per volume or chapter? Will we have a huge time skip? Will we stay with just Leonhard and Heine? Although I'm incredibly suspicious of all these "opportunities" popping up so close together, until there's only one Prince left and it's clearly not just me because Heine makes a comment too. It all just seems a bit...convenient. 

Volume 9 see's the story twist and go in a new direction and brings in new opportunities for story elements to be added. As well as leaving us with a lot of questions as to what will happen next!

Kai makes a friend at school and invites him over to the palace for tea. He asks his brothers for help in making conversation, but is that really such a good idea...? Then it's a battle of wits when Heine joins the princes (and princess!) for a game in the courtyard. After all the time they've now spent under his tutelage, can the students finally overcome the master? 

Well...things have definitely gotten interesting this volume! The Princes threw down the gauntlet to their older brother, Eins, last volume and we're seeing a continuation of them working hard and pushing themselves because of that. 

Leonhards had a bit of a rough ride being mocked last volume and struggling, so it was nice to see him shine at fencing and get praised and just generally have his confidence boosted. Until Maximilian  that is...although it was nice to see more of him too! He and Ludwig are always lurking in the background and I do love it when they interact with the Princes! 

We get a new character this volume, Elmer, who's Kai's first friend! I honestly felt just as proud as the palace staff at this development. The new volume starts off with some entertaining chapters before digging in for the serious stuff in the final two. 

It was a matter of time before someone found out about Licht, let's be honest, and we see one of his brothers become suspicious about his activities. Not to mention Eins and Rosenberg showing up to stick their noses in too. 

I'm really intrigued by Licht and how his story arc is going to go, he's had his eyes opened to the way things can be and he's looking at different options he can have and different things to aspire to be, and he's actually having a little bit of a crisis this volume. Not to mention he clashes with one of his brothers. He goes on quite the journey of self discovery, basically. 

The part that had me screaming was the final page, because of course Rosenberg as to show up, shady AF like "let me help you my dude, one less person in the way for Eins". We all know Rosenberg helping Licht will not end well at all, and we're left on that cliffhanger. 

The plot is moving forward with the Princes determined to challenge Eins, and working out what exactly it is that they want for themselves and their futures in some cases. We also get to examine the Princes and their feelings in more detail, and they've all come such a long way since the first volume, and think about things more. This volume is obviously focused on Licht though, it's pretty natural that he's the first to really think about his options for the future when he's been exposed to a different way of life!

Heine and the princes have overcome many a difficulty together, deepening the mutual trust between the teacher and his pupils. But even though Heine has walked closely alongside the princes as they slowly come into their own, the royal tutor himself still remains a mystery to them. When Count Rosenberg claims to know who he really is, could Heine's secretive past become public knowledge? 

So Rosenberg allegedly knows about Heine and his past and he's not afraid to let him know that. Heine knows Rosenberg is behind the recent plots causing trouble for the Princes and it's finally time for them to have their showdown...sort of. Rosenberg kind of low-key threatens Heine and one of his comments is overheard by the Princes and it certainly piques their interest, particularly Licht who couldn't find out anything about Heine himself. 

Leonhard is hilariously jealous of Heine's previous students, bless him. Meanwhile Licht learns a lesson of his own this volume as does Bruno as we see him grow more as a character when faced with his own students and a skill he lacks. We get to see Kai's character growth as well, which had me cheering because he's come so far, plus a few heartwarming scenes in time for the final chapter of the book....which ends on an ominous note. 

The Princes eldest brother Eins appears to have made his return but what effect is this going to have on the Princes? On Rosenberg and his plotting? Is he backing Rosenberg's plotting? Not to mention there's the photo Kai glimpsed with a familiar face with Heine....I have my suspicions about who it might be, but for now, it's a mystery as is Heine's past. 

This volume shows us how far Heine's relationships with the Princes has come, it shows how deeply they trust him and look up to him and turn to him when they need help and advice...and that could all be blown away next volume or in an upcoming volume if Rosenberg reveals what he's found out about Heine and whatever shocking thing he's sitting on. I feel like getting this insight in to Heine's relationships with the Princes was very deliberate and things are going to take an angsty turn next volume! This volume is heartwarming...yet incredibly ominous at the same time with a deepening mystery surrounding Heine!

Prince Licht's fascination with coffee should come as no surprise given his affinity for his part-time job at the cafe, but when Leonhard suggests the bitter drink should be banned from the kingdom, can Lichie help him develop an appreciation...?

The synopsis literally only covers the first chapter of this volume, as we open with some nice bickering between Leonhard and Licht. Nothing new there then! I have to say, I was kind of on Leonhards side! It's a nice little relaxed moment, before things really get started this volume, because then we move in to a moment between Bruno and Kai that's kind of cute on the surface, but if you've seen the anime, you know what's coming. It hints at the story between those two and their past. 

We have a brief sojourn to the zoo, a story seen in the anime already, with a couple of additional bits and pieces thrown in to keep it fresh. From there we hit more familiar ground as we finally delve in to Bruno and Kai's past...and their secret and that's when this volume really takes a turn. 

The final half of this volume provides us with some suspense and action and takes us on a darker path than the series usually has so far....with the odd sprinkle of humour we've come to know and love in this series! If you've watched the anime, then the final half of the volume and the upcoming story arc in the next volume will be familiar, but as we've discovered, even the familiar scenes from the anime have new additions to keep them fresh so we're bound to be surprised! 

But that's right folks, prepare yourselves because this volume ends on quite the little cliffhanger. Rosenberg reckons he knows who Heine really is, which means the time is coming for the big reveal about Heine and his past that we've all been anticipating! Answers are coming folks! However, from the sentence used I'm guessing things are going to be different to how they go down in the anime, I'm excited, but anime viewers probably shouldn't let themselves be lulled in to a false sense of security by thinking they know what's going to happen!

Heine's efforts to shape the princelings into worthy successors to the throne continue, but it seems that Bruno in particular is struggling with a bit of a crisis of conscience when it comes to his future. Can he live up to Heine's standards to remain his "apprentice"? More importantly, does he have the courage to carve out his own path?

Bruno is on the cover of this volume, so I was expecting there to be a focus on him in this one, but I was pleasantly surprised that there was a nice chunk of Bruno...but also the other Princes! I have to say...I always have to take a few moments to stare at the gorgeous art on the cover...and then on the full colour page...and then the chapter covers....I spend a lot of time admiring the artwork for this series. It's gorgeous and it really fits with the series! There's a brilliant amount of detail, and some nice fancy touches too! 

This volume gives us some fun character profiles on the inside covers, and I'm going to be interesting to see if they come to anything...but I don't want to spoil it so you'll just have to see! This volume has some brilliant little episodes, all while driving the story forward and having each seemingly separate episode...actually relate to Bruno and his doubts and struggles in the last chapter. 

Heine has Adele join the Princes for a little art lesson, and Leonhard is amusingly clingy. But this volume lets us see how far Leonhard has come since we first met him. He's changed a little bit, deciding for himself not to give up at the first hurdle and push himself forward rather than running away like he used to do. Without too much prompting from Heine too! He genuinely wants to study and has questions...and I'm so proud you guys! *sniffle*

Interestingly, Licht appears to be on to Heine. He may be my favourite but I do acknowledge that he seems like an air head at points....but it's pretty clear that's just an act. He knows Heine and the King must know each other and he offers to be there for Heine, a nice touch...and it's also setting us up for some reveals about Heine! 

Leonhard and Bruno get to work with their father so we get a day in the life of Viktor, allowing us an opportunity to get to know him more, and see how he interacts with his sons more. As well as letting us see the Princes strengths and weaknesses and how they approach certain situations...and see what kind of King they may be. We get a lot of insight in to Bruno, not entirely unexpectedly, as well as his motivations and his relationship with the eldest Prince, whom we haven't met yet! I'm waiting for him to appear and cause all kinds of chaos. Not going to lie. 

Poor old Bruno has a rough ride this volume, he struggles with what he wants to be and do and his achieve and what he thinks he can and can't do. It was quite relatable, to be honest, I really empathised with him and was rooting for him to overcome it! I did pause when he was offered a certain opportunity and I genuinely wasn't sure which way he was going to go, despite having seen the anime! Things are quite different you know, and we've got so much manga only content recently! 

The bad news is the Count or whatever he is, is still meddling with the Princes and it looks like he's finally set his sights on Heine next. Next volume could be the volume we've all been waiting for....the one that reveals Heine's history, who he really is, where he came from and how he knows the King! Or it could, you know, build up to that and then leave us on a cliffhanger...

Volume Four is another solid instalment in a series that's both heartwarming and humorous, with four Princes that are shockingly relatable! The plot moves forward at a nice pace and everything weaves together perfectly!

Sometimes kind, sometimes strict, Heine is prepared to employ any means necessary to draw forth his princeling students' potential. But seriously, what's a royal tutor got to do to enjoy a simple, quiet day off?? With royal engagements, reluctant readers, and secret lives seemingly everywhere he turns, Heine may need to up his game if this kingdom is to have any hope for the future at all!

My favourite prince is on the cover, and I couldn't be more stoked about it! Favourite series...favourite character, a match made in heaven! I partially knew what to expect from this volume because I watched the anime, but we're really starting to get more and more content that wasn't included in the anime, which is what I'm excited to see! 

As we start the volume, pretty much all of it is new material we haven't seen before except for the last couple of chapters. We get to meet a new character, Bellatrix, she's the Prince's cousin and she's freaking awesome! She doesn't really do dresses, and she was so damn relatable I was rooting for her! In the anime we focused on the Prince's and their relationships with Heine, but in the manga it looks like we're going deeper in to the Prince's characters and their relationships with other people, as Bellatrix is Kai's betrothed. 

I was a bit skeptical at first but by the end of the chapter I was shipping it so hard it's not even funny. Bellatrix just cracked me up, describing the Prince's when they where younger, poor old Leonhard being called the 'little half-wit'. Bellatrix and her relationship with Kai adds a smidge of romance, but it's not heavy at all. The situation Bellatrix is in was oddly relatable as you could empathise with her feelings and insecurities. I'm really hoping we get to see more of her! I'm intrigued to see her interact with Kai a bit more. I can't decide if he's as oblivious as he appears. 

We get to see some more of Adele in this volume too, and there where some really sweet scenes with her and her brothers! It's nice to see them interact with their younger sister. They stop their bickering for five minutes. The whole situation really did have me chuckling away though, amid wanting to smack Bruno and Leonhard. 

Towards the end of the volume we stray in to familiar territory, as we hit the cafe arc that we saw in the anime. It's largely the same as the anime from what I remember, but there's some deeper insight in to both Licht and the King that's not present in the anime. I really felt for Licht, I got where he was coming from, and we just saw more of how he felt about everything than the anime. 

Volume 3 is packed with new scenes that show the Prince's in a different light and help us get to know them more. With each new volume we're getting more and more scenes and they're providing more and more insight, and the Prince's are still growing and changing. If you watched the anime the Prince's developed quite a lot but the manga makes it clear they still have a way to go! The shady Count makes his appearance too so you know things are about to go downhill fast! 

This is genuinely one of my favourite manga series, it's just so much fun! There's humour and heart to it, and as we get more volumes with new content, you get more and more excited! Like...I'm excited anyway, but I also know what's coming a little bit, so I look forward to being surprised by the new content...if that makes sense!

When the king returns to court, it's time for the princes to prove their mettle. But not everyone's been exactly keeping up with Heine's lessons... (Hint: It's the prince who only scored a one on his assessment test...and that was for signing his name!) Can Heine really whip these boys into shape well enough to rule a country?

You guys, I really feel like this is one of my favourite series both in manga and anime! I look forward to each new volume and kind of put it to the side to read last! I love the art for it, it's got these really fancy touches to it like on the first page...flourishes one might say. I'm getting so in to this series it's not even funny! 

I have to say, Licht is probably my favourite Prince at this point, I'm not going to lie. Although Leonhard is coming in a close second but he's tied with Kai. I'm really loving how the brothers interact with each other, the way they back each other up and tease and mock each other. It provides both humorous and heart warming moments throughout the manga. It's such a great portrayal of sibling relationships. I was a bit worried in the beginning they might all be backstabbing each other so this was a pleasant surprise! 

I'm so ready to learn more about the rest of the Princes, as in this volume the focus is very much on Leonhard! We get some fun scenes with the Princes going out in to the city to interact with the people and see what it's like, something Licht's already aware of. Heine handling Leonhard with the whole guillotine thing cracked me up. Poor old Leonhard is now 'commoner phobic' and spends the rest of the chapter muttering about the dreaded guillotine. Bless him. 

I'm envisioning us getting to know each Prince better and better with each volume, this volume has a particular focus on Leonhard, like I said, and I'm willing to bet the next volume will be Licht to match the cover...the anime went with Licht next, but I'm not sure yet how much the anime is going to have diverged from the manga. Aside from the fact the manga is giving us more insight in to the Princes and motivations behind their actions and so on than in the anime. There's just a bit more information, the manga goes a bit deeper. 

The King, Viktor makes his first appearance in this volume and he is one of my favourites! He completely cracks me up! He's scary and in King mode one moment and then crying and fawning over his sons the next...and they're embarrassed of him. Which I find hilarious. I'm intrigued to see if Heine and Viktors relationship will be the same as the anime or if it'll be changed and tweaked a bit. 

During this volume we get to see how far the Princes bond with each other goes, how they work together and help each other. We see just how much like brothers they are at one point, and we see the differences between each Prince as they venture in to town. We finally get to see them interact with their father, and see the relationship between them and him. In Volume 2 we can see how far their bond with Heine has come in such a short time, particularly in Leonhards case as he trusts Heine. It becomes clear that the Princes trust Heine, and they're opening up to him. It's going to be nice to see their relationship with him grow and change as they open up more, and as we delve deeper in to each character and what makes them tick and so on. 

Things are picking up from our introduction to the Princes in volume one as we get to see more of the characters and the unexpected starts to pop up. Towards the end of this volume, we really start to diverge from the anime. When it comes to Kai and his dilemma from the beginning of episode 8...that's the penultimate chapter of this second volume and appears to be dealt with in just the one chapter without the outing with Princess Adele. Whereas in the anime after Leonhard's problem, we move on to Licht and Kai is the last of the Princes we get to see more of. So I'm not sure whether we'll get more of Kai later, or if that's it. After Kai's chapter we then have completely new material which was a nice surprise! It was nice to see the relationship between two of the Princes and get a little bit of insight in to both and how they act and so on. 

As well as all of that we get some cool background information on the world of the manga too! We get to learn the inspiration behind it and some interesting facts about it and how it works and so on which I found fascinating and really adds to the world! 

The Royal Tutor Volume 2 allows us to delve more in to Prince Leonhard's character as well as the bond between the Princes and Heine...as well as each other. We cover Episodes 4 and 5 of the anime and the beginning of episode 8, and considering Kai and his problem where wrapped up I don't think we'll be getting the rest of episode 8. Volume 2 starts to diverge from the things we've already seen in the anime, to brand new material that we haven't seen yet and it's made me more curious to see how things are going to play out. My money is on vol 3 being Licht centric but I guess we'll see! Either way this manga is fun, humorous and heart warming too at times, with its fair share of mysteries to be solved, even more so with the introduction of King Viktor!

Accepting the post of royal tutor at the court of the king of Granzreich, Heine Wittgenstein is a little professor with a big job ahead of him! Each of the kingdom's four princes has a rather distinct personality. Does their diminutive new instructor have what it takes to lay down some learning? It's a comedy of educational proportions!

Okay so, I literally just started watching the anime, but I really need to catch up because I'm behind. I was super excited to read this manga, and I wasn't at all disappointed! I really, really like the artwork for this manga, it's cute and a little bit decadent at points. 

This first volume covers the first 3 episodes of the anime in this volume! The manga actually fills in more than the anime, there's a clearer understanding of scenes and motivations. Some of the anime scenes are missing, like Heine doesn't meet the Princess until later in the manga. 

I have to say, Licht is totally my favourite, he's such a cutie but I think he's a lot more intelligent/sly than he lets on. His comments have made me curious about who/what Heine is, even more so than before! Licht is definitely the pretty/playboy Prince. 

Kai is my second favourite, he's the Quiet one and bless him, he's so sweet. I totally relate to him as well, I too have resting bitch face problems. Not quite as severe as poor old Kai, but still. 

Bruno is the Brainy Prince. He's super intelligent and completely loved Heine and it was hilarious. I wasn't sure I'd like him much at first, but I could understand his behaviour...or you know...arrogance. 

Last but not least we have Leonhard. The Athletic one. He's a little bit ridiculous with his running thing, but I can understand why he does it. He hates studying and I can't say I blame him to be honest. I'm intrigued by him because he likes to make it known he doesn't care but he really kinda does.  

As for Heine....I'm just so curious about him and his past. I'm intrigued to see how he'll work with the Princes and I need to know what he is! 

I really enjoyed the world of the book, it's heavily German influenced or maybe Vienna judging from the translation notes! It's kind of a little bit historical, judging from how everyone dresses, and I can picture the world as if it actually exists/existed. Not hard to imagine it back in the day basically. 

The Royal Tutor is an intriguing start to a new series, I found the story amusing, intriguing and kinda cute too! I loved the world and the art work, and I'm so intrigued by each of the princes and their personalities. Licht is clearly hiding something for example. Not to mention I'm curious about the oldest prince we haven't met yet and Heine.....I have so many questions! I'm also intrigued to see where this manga is going to go, and how it's going to develop! Especially after something the King said....
